In the 1970s and 1980s, automotive enthusiasts and card game aficionados alike found a exitment in "Top Trumps" card games featuring cars, trucks, aeroplanes or in our case - motorbikes. Revving up with iconic two-wheelers from Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, or Royal Enfield, these games ignited fierce competitions among friends and collectors alike. Each card boasted detailed specs ranging from engine displacement to top speed, sparking heated debates over which bike reigned supreme. Half the time the specs were incorrect or the picture didn't match the description, but who cares! It's got sick choppers on it!
With sleek designs and an adrenaline-fueled spirit, motorcycle "Top Trumps" (or in German "Top Ass") card games became a cherished pastime, capturing the essence of the era's passion for speed and style.
Here's you chance to relive the exitment with two decks from Germany: HEISSE CHOPPER by Altenburger & Stralsunder Spielkartenfabriken, and CHOPPER SUPER TRUMPF by F.X.Schmidt
