My name is Bastiaan Engelberts, a.k.a. ''tha RoadWarrior'', from Holland. After a few other bikes I bought this 1985 BMW K100rs about 1 year ago.
I use it every day for travelling to and from work, both in Amsterdam. When the speedometer broke (it ran full of water), a few months after I bought it, I decided to build my own from a Sigma cycle comp & a few little lamps. That was the beginnng of the transformation..... Removed the fairing, changed mirrors - headlight - blinkers - tailight, moved ignition lock to the side, used some tearplates for covers (front / side & back), added blue led-strips along the backside, cut off the last end of the sub-frame, moved the licenceplate, and ofcourse: painted is matt-black (with a few white tribal-skulls on it). In the future; I want to cut off a piece of the front fender to make it smaller, and maybe change the exhaust....
